Begin with the material
Explore individual granite, limestone and marble selections to compare their grain, color and finish references. A photograph captures one sample. Natural veining, fossils and color can vary across pieces and blocks, so review physical samples before settling on a selection.
Keep the stone and the format together
A stone selection describes a material. Pavers, steps, coping, caps and veneer have their own dimensions and supported stone references. Open the finished product to check its specific tables and finish notes. A stone's appearance in the catalog does not establish availability in every format.
Consider the edges and transitions
Share the layout, changes in level, corners, edges and adjoining materials with Krebs. Wall caps, pillar caps and coping serve different details. Garden wall stone listed as dry-stacked and non-retaining should not be treated as an engineered retaining-wall system. Have your project team confirm the assembly and structural requirements.
Explore slabs, tile and recycled glass
Slabs and tile can support countertop, floor, wall, shower, backsplash and fireplace projects when the selected material and assembly are suitable. Thin slabs and thick slabs are separate formats to discuss with the fabricator. Recycled-glass surfaces are a separate material from granite, limestone and marble. Confirm the current color, finish, slab dimensions and intended use together.
Bring custom stonework into focus
Architectural cladding, columns, balusters, arches, carved details and restoration stonework begin with the project. Drawings, measurements, photographs and reference pieces help define profiles and finishes. For restoration work, discuss how the new stone should relate to the existing material.

Confirm care and technical requirements
Ask Krebs for current specifications and care information for the exact stone and finish. Published test values describe the tested material; they do not establish every size, installation or exposure. Your designer, fabricator and installer should confirm the assembly, drainage, substrate, joints, cleaning products and any required sealing or moisture protection.
Save the selection and your questions
Choose the listed material, finish or inquiry option and save it to My Project. Add notes about the size, application and details you want to discuss. Stop by during business hours to see samples—no appointment needed. Krebs will confirm pricing, availability and timing before an order is arranged.
Selection guidance helps you prepare a conversation. Confirm technical requirements and installation details with your builder or installer and the applicable manufacturer documents.
